The Lange Law Firm - Food Safety Lawyer

Rockwood Summit E. coli Lawsuit

I cannot recommend Jory Lange highly enough. When my father died, Jory was there and got an unbelievably great settlement (one of the highest settlements in America for for this type of case). I say this not only as a grateful client, but as a trial lawyer myself concentrating in personal injury with over 25 years experience. Jory has the knowledge, the skills, and the ability to handle big personal injury cases and my family and I are exceedingly pleased with the results and the justice that he obtained through very hard work for us.

JOEL, FORMER CLIENT

Candess & Jory were extremely valuable resources for me when I contracted food poisoning. They guided me through every step of the legal process from start to finish, always willing to answer questions and be fully transparent. They were able to secure a settlement for me, but what I valued more was how truly concerned they were about my health and well-being beyond my case. I would gladly recommend Candess & Jory to anyone looking for attorneys who will fight on their behalf and really care about their clients.

JOE, FORMER CLIENT

Rockwood Summit E. coli Outbreak

The local health department has announced an outbreak of illnesses linked to two catered events for Rockwood Summit High School catered by Andre’s Banquets and Catering. At least 69 people in 10 states have been sickened. Officials said although current details are suggestive of salad being the source of illness, they have not identified a specific ingredient, nor do they have information on the nature or timing of the contamination. The investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday, Rockwood Summit High School Principal Emily McCown said the district was contacted by the St. Louis County Department of Public Health in regards to the suspected E. coli infections. An email sent to parents said it was all connected to food eaten at an “end-of-season event,” and on Friday, district spokeswoman Mary LaPak said they are investigating a second school event as well.
